Where can I watch hacks for travel?
First, it 100% depends on how much time you have. Keep in mind, these platforms can also suck you in a continuous loop of hack videos where you don’t even realize an hour of your time has gone – because lets face it, watching hacks can be addicting . Below I have listed what platforms you can watch hacks for travel and how to get started.
Platform
Total Active Users (2022)*
Facebook.com 2.9 billion* (short & long videos)
YouTube.com 2.2 billion* (“#shorts” & long videos)
Instagram (app) 2 billion* (short= “reels” & long videos)
TikTok (app) 1 billion* (short & long videos)
Snapchat (app) 538 million* (short= “snaps” & long videos)
Pinterest.com 444 million* (short & long videos)
Vimeo.com 260 million* (short & long videos)
LinkedIn.com 250 million* (short & long videos)
Twitter (app) 217 million* (short & long videos)
1. The more “Total Active Users” , the more content you have to watch. Short videos are typically less than 60 seconds and long videos can go as long at 10 hours I’ve seen.
2. These platforms can be experienced on a multitude of devices, however, I’ve suggested the best method I prefer above to experience the hacks content. Snapchat’s “snaps”, Instagram’s “reels”, and Youtube’s “shorts” are intended to be short videos.
3. All these platform WANT you to sign up. You can get away with viewing content on some of the platform without signing up but you won’t be able to use or experience the search or other features intended to be experienced.
4. Once you have either gone to the website or downloaded the app look for the “search” icon. Click on it and enter #travelhacks or travel hacks. You can search with or out without a “#” or hashtag. The hashtag makes it easier to see how many videos are related to your search. The “search” icon is pictured below.
<— To the left is what the “search” icon universally looks like on ALL of the platforms.
When you hover over it in this post it will pulse. I thought that was cool. Do you?
Another thing to also keep in mind. If you are using a mobile device, watching on these platforms eats up data quickly and can deplete your battery. You may want to start with a 100% fully charged device as well as limit your time using the app if you don’t have an unlimited data plan.
